The Feds arrested one of the Hollywood star’s favorite characters on Friday.
The arrest of actor George Clooney, 57, comes as he was preparing to return to his native Australia for the premiere of his new film “Saving Mr. Banks,” according to a statement from the U.S. Marshals Service.
Clooney was arrested by the U,S.
Postal Service at his home in Hollywood, California.
The FBI and the Los Angeles Police Department assisted with the investigation.
Cloeoney’s arrest follows the recent arrests of “Banks” star Matt Damon, “Downton Abbey” star Matthew Fox and the “Star Wars” director George Lucas, who was arrested in October on a felony gun charge in Florida.
He was released on bond.
